The St. Louis Blues (26-26-6) snapped their back-to-back slump with a 3-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche (33-24-2) on Sunday night, fueled by Jordan Binnington’s stellar performance and a dominant scoring showcase in the second period.

First Period: Devon Toews tipped in Cale Makar’s wrist shot at 7:49 to give Colorado an early 1-0 lead.

Second Period: The Blues responded with three unanswered goals in 10 minutes from Brayden Schenn, Colton Parayko, and Dylan Holloway to take control.

Third Period: Colorado pulled goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood with 2:34 left, but Binnington stopped all 13 shots in the final frame to seal the win.
