Blues’ Playoff Push Continues

The incredible run for the Blues is now up to 12-2-2 over their last 16 games after cruising to a 4-1 win over the Blackhawks yesterday - and most of these games have not been close. Eight of the twelve wins during the stretch have come by multiple goals.

The Blues have outscored their opponents by an average of 4.12 to 2.56 during this 16-game run. One of those games was a 4-1 win at Nashville this past Tuesday. The Blues have crushed the Predators in both meetings this season along with a 7-4 victory back in December.

Predators Struggle In This Spot

The Predators snapped a four-game skid with a 5-2 win against Toronto yesterday, but they come to St. Louis for a spot that they have struggled in all season. Nashville is 3-9 in the second game of back-of-back’s, including 1-8 when the second leg is on the road.

The Predators have been a terrible road team this season with a record of 8-21-5, and there’s also a good chance we see their backup goaltender Justus Annunen today after Juuse Saros got the start yesterday.

My Pick

I don’t recommend laying big moneyline prices on a regular basis. So just like yesterday, I want to get creative to find a way to bet on the Blues while lowering the price. I was successful yesterday in cashing a ticket for the Blues to win along with Dylan Holloway to record at least one point.

For today’s pick, let’s take the Blues to win along with Predators forward Filip Forsberg to get at least two shots on goal. Forsberg has generated at least two shots on goal in 29 of his last 30 games, so that leg of the Same Game Parlay is very likely to hit.

As for the Blues to win… how do you not take them at this point? Let’s hope the magical run continues.

Pick: Same Game Parlay priced at -125 on DraftKings - Blues on the moneyline and Filip Forsberg to record at least two shots on goal (bet up to -130)
