The St. Louis Blues (38-28-7) secured their seventh consecutive win with a dominant 6-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens (33-28-9) at the Enterprise Center. Philip Broberg and Robert Thomas led the way with four-point performances each.
Jim Montgomery had a few longer answers regarding Broberg and Holloway, but this one probably resonates with all #stlblues fans: "I’m just really grateful that they’re Blues."

Game Recap
Jordan Kyrou opened the scoring late in the first period, threading a shot through traffic at 18:07 to put the Blues up 1-0. Montreal quickly responded just 47 seconds later, as Nick Suzuki tipped in a shot following a Blues turnover.
The home team wasted no time reclaiming the lead, with Dylan Holloway redirecting a Philip Broberg shot off the post and past goaltender Sam Montembeault with four seconds left in the period, making it 2-1.
Robert Thomas extended the lead to 3-1 just 3:21 into the second period during a 4-on-4, firing a wrist shot into the back of the net. Alexandre Texier pushed it to 4-1 at 9:09, cashing in on a rebound from a Cam Fowler shot.
Broberg struck again at 10:12 of the third, beating Montembeault with a wrist shot off his glove to make it 5-1. Montembeault was then pulled for Jakub Dobes, who finished the game in net for Montreal.
Zack Bolduc put the finishing touch on the victory at 18:02, burying a pass from Robert Thomas on the power play to seal the 6-1 win.
Jordan Binnington made 24 stops only allowing one goal (.960 save percentage).
Blues coach Jim Montgomery said postgame, “I just had that feeling that we were going to be really good tonight, and that first 30 minutes of the game was probably the best hockey we’ve played all year.”
