The St. Louis Cardinals (24-20) split their Wednesday doubleheader with the Philadelphia Phillies (25-18), dropping Game 1 by a 2-1 score to snap their nine-game winning streak before bouncing back with a 14-7 slugfest win in Game 2. The nightcap marked St. Louis’ ninth come-from-behind victory of the season and improved their road record to 8-14.
