Blues Host Devils

The St. Louis Blues look to build some momentum when they meet the New Jersey Devils on Saturday at Enterprise Center.

The Blues looked fantastic in their first game back from the Olympic break in blowing out Seattle 5-1 on Thursday night.

Can Blues Stack Wins Together?

Consistency has been a struggle for the Blues this season, and that’s a big reason why they are so far down in the standings. On Saturday they will be attempting to win a second consecutive game, which is something they’ve only done five times all season long.

The Blues are looking for a little payback against the Devils, as they lost at New Jersey 3-2 in overtime back on November 26th.

Devils In A Downturn

The Devils were riding a three-game losing streak heading into the Olympic break, and things haven’t gotten any better upon returning. New Jersey lost back-to-back games on Wednesday and Thursday this week, falling 2-1 at home to Buffalo and 4-1 on the road at Pittsburgh.

Struggling to put the puck in the back of the net has been a theme for the Devils this season. They rank dead last in the NHL with just 2.46 goals per game.

My Lean

A lot of data points to the under in this matchup, so that would be the way I’d go if betting this one. I mentioned the Devils’ goal-scoring woes, and that has played a key part in the under going 36-23 in their games this season.

The first meeting between the Blues and Devils this season went under, marking the fifth straight matchup with these teams where the under has cashed. I think we get six in a row on Saturday.

Lean: Under 5.5 at -105 on DraftKings
